RM-SLO-PLUS-HUB consortium is proud to confirm that our project is approved and preparations for the first consortium meeting are ongoing.
Our diverse consortium consisting of multiple European higher education institutions (National Technical University of Athens, Montanuniversität Leoben, Technical University of Madrid, Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology, University of Banja Luka), one science academy-affiliated institute (Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences) and consulting firm of the ministry of development for participation in national tenders (PASECO).
Our partner Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster is a National Cluster for Sustainable Mining and Associated Services of the Iberian Peninsula with more than 90 members, of which over 70 are companies (SMEs and large enterprises), while the remainder are professional organisations, universities and research centres, accounting for more than 2,500 employees dedicated to the mining industry and its associated services.
One of partners is a highly promising mining project ( https://www.hellas-gold.com/en), with a representative sustainable practices expected to be major supplier of gold and copper implementing fully sustainable mining practice with best available environmental protection measures in place. ANEFA partner is a national organisation of the aggregate producers, gathering more than 280 companies, and also proud organiser of the national award for sustainability in aggregate industry.
All of our partners will support EIT RM’s strategy in making this KIC a European leader in SLO education by introducing a unique, multidisciplinary offering as part of the EIT RawMaterials Academy.
We are going to create a stronger and longer-lasting impact so that EIT RM will be able to further support key investments and foster relationships with investors.
